I’ve been wearing this under my EMS Gore-tex xcr shell since last winter. Only complaint I have is I wish they sewn on some sort of fleece liner on the collar area. It gets a little sticky between my neck and the jacket when I start to perspire (hence the -.5 star).  This is a true minimalist jacket. There are no pockets what so ever. Even the zipper is light weight. The Ballistic Airtight thread technology is superb. I have only notice 3 instances where I saw a feather poke out. Overall great jacket, made with minimalist in mind and highly recommended if extreme lightweight backpacking is your goal.

This little light was perfect for my past backpacking and camping trips. I carried it with 2 extra CR123 batteries for backup which I didn’t even need. I was using it mostly on medium mode, occasionally blast full for “visits to the woods” at night and blast at ultra bright when i wanted to beam deeper in the woods when I suspected something was there.

I brought my Zebra H50 light for the “just in case” scenarios . It uses AA batteries which are more readily available then CR123. On the side note don’t purchase the H50  – too much flooding.

usage: 1 hr on high (220 lm) – 3.7 days on low (5 lm)
